HISTORY
Quảng Nam Đà Nẵng Football Club, as they were originally known, was founded in 1976. It was renamed SHB Da Nang when it was bought by Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank.

2009 was a very successful year for the club, clinching their first V-League championship (since the competition was renamed), winning the Vietnamese Cup and the U21 youth championship.
