Siam Navy are one of the oldest clubs in Thailand, originally formed in 1937 under the banner Royal Thai Navy Football Club. Whilst they currently play under the name Siam Navy, locally they are known as Rajnavy, the local Thai name for the Navy.

The club played under the banner of Royal Thai Navy until 2009, when all Thai clubs were forced to list themselves as public limited companies, forcing many to change name and forge closer links with their community. At that time Rayong Thai Premier took ownership of the club, renaming them Rajnavy Rayong.

This continued for two years before the Royal Thai Navy took back ownership of the club, moved them out of Rayong and renamed the club Siam Navy. The club are currently based on the Chonburi province and ground share with fellow TPL side Pattaya United, against TPL rules.
