HISTORY
Whilst Selangor FA weren’t officially formed until 1936, a Selangor-club has been participating in Malaysian competitions since the 1920s.

They are by far the most successful club in Malaysian history, with a record 32 Malaysia Cup titles, five Super League titles and five FA Cup titles.

Throughout their history they had a fierce rivalry with Singapore, before they withdrew from competing in Malaysian competitions in 1994. To revive that rivalry they compete annually in the Sultan of Selangor Cup competition.
