HISTORY
The club was founded in 2002 as a community club and made their K-League debut in 2003. In Korea a ‘community-club’ means that the club issues shares, and Daegu Metropolitan City is a major shareholder, with the Mayor acting as Chairman of the club.

The club has traditionally finished mid-table, with their best finish coming in 2006 when they finished 7th and made the Quarter Final of the KFA Cup.
