Wanting to keep up-to-date with everything that is happening in Japanese football, but don’t have time to trawl the Internet for all the information you need? Despair not, back again in 2013 is the fantastic JTalk Podcast.

Hosted by Tokyo-based Ben Maxwell, the weekly podcast discusses all the issues from each week of the J.League and J2, as well as national team affairs in an important year for the senior men’s national team.

For those on the go, the podcast can be downloaded and is available via iTunes. Otherwise we will have the latest podcast available on this page every week during the season!

 EPISODE FOUR 
A 46 minute podcast with Alan Gibson of JSoccer Magazine, recapping the opening weekend of the 2013 J.League season. After a brief review of the ACL games played last midweek, Alan & Ben run through all of the games in J1 Matchday 1 (to 25:45). In Part 2 they round-up the big results from J2 Matchday 1, before finishing with a quick look at a couple of Japanese players in Europe, and Alan tells us about Issue 7 of the magazine.

 EPISODE THREE 
Jon Steele from J2 Kanto Bites (presented by JapanFooty.com) was the guest as JTalk previewed the 2013 J2 Season. Who’ll challenge for promotion, who’ll rise from the pack, and who’ll struggle in 2013.

 EPISODE TWO 
In this second J1 Preview podcast, Sean, Steve, Jon, Angus and Ben run the rule over the teams who finished 7th – 15th in 2012, as well as the three teams who came up from J2 at the end of last season.
