HISTORY
The Indian Arrows were founded in 2010 by the All India Football Federation in order to give playing opportunities to young players with a target of qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The club was given direct entry into the I-League after Mahindra United disbanded, but after only one year the AIFF announced it had to sell the club off to private owners, with the Palian Group taking over ownership and moving the club to Kolkata.
